How It Works

This tool parses your HTML to evaluate UX clarity across six categories. All processing happens entirely in your browser — no data is sent to any server.

Checklist Categories
  • Labels & Text — Every input needs a visible <label>, buttons need descriptive text, and headings should be concise and meaningful.
  • Navigation — Logical link structure, active state indicators, consistent ordering, and skip-to-content links for keyboard users.
  • User Feedback — Loading indicators, success/error states, confirmation prompts for destructive actions, and visible status messages.
  • Visual Hierarchy — Proper heading order (h1 → h2 → h3), single h1 per page, and logical content structure with landmarks.
  • Consistency — Uniform button styling, matching naming conventions, and consistent use of UI patterns across the page.
  • Cognitive Load — Manageable number of actions per section, reasonable form length, clear grouping of related content, and helpful placeholder text.
Scoring

Each check is weighted equally. Passes score full points, warnings half, and failures zero. The final percentage determines the grade:

ScoreGrade
80 – 100%Clear, user-friendly interface
50 – 79%Needs UX improvements
0 – 49%Confusing user experience
Tip: Static analysis catches structural issues but cannot evaluate visual design, animation timing, or real user behavior. Pair this tool with actual user testing for the best results.

Embed This Util

You can embed this util on your own site as a widget. Adding ?embed=1 to the URL loads a compact version with just the tool itself; no header, menu, or documentation. Paste this snippet into your HTML:
